ReserveX is founded by travel, technology veterans with a deep understanding and vision for applying travel industry electronic distribution & yield management practices for the event ticketing industry. We are also passionate about attending live venues and the truth is we started ReserveX to help us source tickets and be notified when our favorite bands are in town.

The Team

Dave Berkus - Chairman

David Berkus is the Founder and President at Berkus Technology Ventures, LLC. He also serves as the Chairman and Principal of Patina, LLC and Managing Partner of Kodiak Ventures, L.P. Dave is an early stage venture capitalist with a hands-on background in technology. He has been an entrepreneur for nearly 50 years and has formed and managed successful businesses in the entertainment and software arenas. Dave is a respected technology industry leader and spokesperson. He was an early pioneer in the mini-computer industry. Dave founded Computerized Lodging Systems, Inc. He also guided the company, through a decade of spectacular growth, including two consecutive years on the Inc.500 list of America's fastest growing companies. Dave is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of ABL-Technology, Director at IP3 Networks, Inc., and Trustee at Occidental College. He serves as a Board Member and Vice President of the Western Region, Boy Scouts of America. Dave is the Chairman Emeritus of the Tech Coast Angels. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at LeisureLink Inc which he co-founded with Kelly Tompkins. Dave is also the Board Chairman or Board Member of 11 public and private technology companies. He is active as an Investor or Board Member in a total of 64 early-stage companies since 1993. Dave was recently recognized for the pioneering achievements with his induction into the Hospitality (HFTP) 'International Hall of Fame'. He is also listed in Marquis' 'Who's Who In America' and 'Who's Who In The World.' Dave is a co-author of 'Better Than Money!' and 'Extending the Runway'. Mr. Berkus is a graduate from Occidental College.

Kelly Tompkins - CEO & Founder

Prior to starting ReserveX, Kelly Founded AdventureLink Inc., the leading global distribution network for booking adventure travel. Prior to AdventureLink Kelly Founded LeisureLink Inc. in 2002, the leading distribution network for reserving vacation rentals. He has fifteen years of experience as a pioneer in developing e-commerce companies and has worked with leading travel providers including SABRE, Expedia, GetThere, United Airlines, and Tickets.com. His extensive experience reflects his pioneering work in a number of new travel technologies. He developed the initial SABRE Web Reservation system and hosting services for travel agencies. He also led the development of a dynamic tour package application working in conjunction with Expedia. Later he led the team at GetThere that developed EFares, one of the first web-based yield management systems for airlines. He has also acted as a consultant for leading travel organizations including Tickets.com, Equant and AAA in guiding their travel technology development efforts. Prior to LeisureLink, he co-founded Tripeze.com, one of the leading online travel services in Canada, which was acquired by Sears. Mr. Tompkins graduated from the University of British Columbia with a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Science degree in 1994 and was a member of the Canadian National Cycling Team.

Brian Pollard - VP Supplier Relations

Brian has a strong track record leading teams at Ticketmaster to provide solutions for live entertainment venues, teams, promoters, and artists from both business management and operations capacities. He started his career as a software engineer in the telecommunications space with Intel and was awarded a patent. Brian received a BS in electrical engineering from University of California Los Angeles and is currently pursuing his MBA with concentration in entrepreneurship and management at University of Southern California Marshall Business School. In his free time, Brian enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and photography.
